Thank you so much Justine! We are so grateful for the support and generosity of the Rye Ukulele Group. You have donated the “gift of music” to many hospitalized children with this amazing donation.
With deep appreciation always

All you need is a Ukulele Festival!

What a amazing day we had last Saturday, all the bands were fantastic and so was the weather.  It was great to see all our ukulele friends enjoying themselves along with everyone else that came for a great day.  I want to say a big Hello and Thank You for coming to Miina and Tiina from Finland, who came especially for the event! Along with having lots of fun you very generous people gave  an  phenomenal £504.94 for The Ukulele Kids Club UK, Thank you so much.

All the photos we have received so far of the day you can find under Festival 2017 Photo Gallery on this website, more will be added as they come in.  Also lots of videos of the bands on our Facebook page and also on YouTube.  Just to say once again thank you for coming and making our Festival 2017 such a success!

Festival Update!!

Hi Everyone!

Not long now until our Festival, and we are all getting very excited and checking lots of lists!  We are once again supporting the Ukulele Kids Charity UK, everyone was so generous and supportive last year and we raised an amazing amount, we hope to do just as well this year!!

Another exciting piece of news is that we have a concert ukulele signed by, wait for it,…………… THE UKULELE ORCHESTRA OF GREAT BRITIAN!!!!     to raffle on the day, so make sure you get your tickets folks!  As of last year we have two amazing food vendors, along with Noah Ukuleles, and the Music Trading Company, as well as all the other festival paraphernalia and of course Ice Cream, no festival would be the same without it!  Recently we were told we are listed on the best ukulele festivals 2017 in ukulele music info.

Don’t forget to download the Big Busk Book from the website, copies will be for sale on the day if not,  and start digging out your Threads for our 1967 theme,  we are expecting  a very colourful day!   If anyone is unsure of the details of our free entrance festival it is being held at the Cinque Ports Pub in Rye on Saturday 8th July from 11am,  be there or be square!

Here we are after playing at the RSPCA Open Day event recently in Hastings, great day there, next stop Festival,  Yaay!!

Busy April!

We had a busy April, playing at another two venues, the first was at Iden’s Ship to Shore Variety show where the Experiment played the matinee and evening performances.  The audience joined us singing along with a selection of sea inspired songs and sea shanties!

We followed this by playing at the Heffle Cuckoo Fair at Heathfield a Fair held to raise funds for Demelza Children’s Charity, a really well attended fair with lots of interesting stalls and various events.
