Plans are going well for this year’s Hawaian themed festival. We have all the participating groups booked in. We are currently working on our Big Busk Book. Caterers and refreshments are booked. We will have more seating for you this year, and tables too. As the festival has free entry, it’s ideal to bring your family and friends (and your ukes!) for a good, fun day out, with non stop live music.
We also wanted to tell you about The Ukulele Kids Club UK, the charity we are supporting at our festival this year. UKCUK provides ukuleles, and tuition for sick children in hospitals, through the therapy departments. So we are asking if anyone out there has an old beaten up ukulele, and any old broken tuners, please bring them along to the festival. We can send them to the Southern Ukulele Store who will kindly repair and refurbish them without charge, in order to be donated to UKCUK. They will then be distributed to hospitals throughout the South East, where children can begin to learn the joys of playing a ukulele.

Thank you so much.
In the meantime, happy strumming!
