Merry Christmas To All!

RUE had a good day last Thursday,  We performed on behalf of St Michaels Hospice at Tesco  in Hastings, taking part in a 12hr donation event. Some of us then went on to the SMH shop in Rye to present a cheque for £400 collected during this year at various performances especially for St Michaels Hospice..

Iden Seniors and Christmas in Rye

A great festive singsong recently with the lovely people of Iden,      after their Seniors Christmas dinner. Thanks to their generous       donations, we have another £78.85 going into the St Michaels Hospice pot.

And just to keep us on our toes, last Saturday we were asked to play at the Butter Market as part of the Christmas in Rye Celebrations, a good time was had by all!

Sarah Lee Trust Christmas Fair

We dusted off our jingle bells and raided our wardrobes for red things, and got into the mood at The Sara Lee Trust Christmas Fair, held in the beautiful church of St John the Evangelist, St Leonards. This wonderful charity raises funds to help families and people affected by cancer. There was a warm and friendly atmosphere and lots of people, and we were joined for a while by Tony, a uke player visiting from The Isle of Wight. Nice to meet you Tony!
