We had a great time on Saturday playing outside Adams, as part of The Rye Arts Festival Opening Day Street Music. Many thanks to the most appreciative audience, we were all rocking and swaying! We cheekily put out our St Michaels Hospice collection buckets and were delight with the total of £76.63. Not bad for 1 hour! Thanks everyone.
Over the last few weeks we have enjoyed welcoming visitors to our Tuesday night Jam sessions. Rye has lots of festivals and lots of people come to the area on holiday so it is great when fellow ukulele players look us up. Recently Jeremy from Hanwell Ukulele Group came and played with us, a good time was had by all as usual and we hope that next time he is down this way he makes sure he is here on a Tuesday so he can join us again.
Here he is with a Rye Ukulele Festival 2016 badge, good man!
The sun was shining down on us, we must have done something right!, as we played to open The Sue Ryder Garden Party Fund Raiser on Saturday. A really lovely venue and we really enjoy supporting our local charities, the boys are just getting ready to play here, sun, ukulele playing and tea and cake what’s not to like!
